In 2003, our founder Nat Dunn was working as a web development instructor for other training companies and grew tired of canceled classes, cookie-cutter curriculum, and training centers that cared more about the bottom line than about learning. He launched Webucator on a different set of values: guaranteed-to-run classes, customized programs, and a team that understood real learning had to connect to students' goals.
Webucator took off. We were named to Inc.'s 5000 fastest-growing companies in America three years in a row and grew from a single trainer to hundreds of instructors delivering classes around the world. To date, we've trained more than 15,000 companies including over 70% of the Fortune 500.
We were also a pioneer of live online training starting in 2005, eventually delivering thousands of classes each year by web conference. What set us apart was our instructors' commitment to making content relevant to the work students actually do a quality mentioned repeatedly in our class evaluations. We became known as an enterprise partner willing to adjust content, formats, and methods to help customers hit their strategic goals.
In 2025, Nat Dunn transitioned the company to a new owner, Chris Lam. As former SVP of Partnerships at SiriusXM and most recently CEO of EduMind, Chris brings leadership that has strengthened our ability to understand customer needs and deliver fully aligned solutions.
Today, our catalog covers the skills that drive modern organizations forward including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, software engineering, IT operations, project management, leadership, communication, and business applications. Across every subject, our classes help organizations operate more efficiently, make informed decisions, and keep up with change.
As we move into our next chapter, the focus remains the same: reliability, relevance, and learning programs designed to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
